The goal for this project was to establish Reina as a dementia-friendly district. A dementia-friendly district should contain dwellings and urban spaces that are easy to orientate in, and that feel including and safe. By focusing on two types of shared accommodations, one customized for elderly people and one customized for families with kids, we wanted to investigate how social living could contribute to normalizing the everyday life of a person with early phase dementia.
